Shane joined Ion Equity in July 2007 from Jurys Doyle Hotel Group where he was primarily responsible for identifying and securing new sites for Jurys Inn in the UK. He took over as Head of Development in 2006 and secured 9 new sites while with the company.

 

Prior to holding a number of senior positions within Microsoft Europe, Shane gained experience and knowledge of the Irish retail market while working with SuperValu/Centra. Within Ion Equity, Shane works closely with Topaz Energy on Network Development, including a recently completed strategic review.

 

Shane is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and an honours Commerce graduate from University College Cork
